Dan Murphy, DC
Dan Murphy is one of the most respected and sought-after speakers in the chiropractic and research professions. He graduated magna cum laude from Western States Chiropractic College in 1978, and has more than 34 years of practice experience. He received his Diplomat in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1986. Since 1982, Dan Murphy has served as part-time undergraduate faculty at Life Chiropractic College West, where he is currently teaching classes to seniors in the Management of Spinal Disorders. His academic rank at the college is that of Professor. Dan Murphy is on the post-graduate faculty of several chiropractic colleges. His post-graduate continuing education classes include “Whiplash and Spinal Trauma”, Neuroimmunology”, “Pediatrics”, “Phospholipid Neurobiology”, “The Neurophysiology of Therapeutic Lasers”, and “Nutrition”. Dan Murphy is the coordinator of a year-long certification program (through the International Chiropractic Association) in “Chiropractic Spinal Trauma”, which is being offered in Minneapolis this year (2012). He has taught more than 1,400 post-graduate continuing education seminars, including classes in the United States, Canada, Australia, France, England, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece, New Zealand, Spain, Panama, South Korea, and Peru.

Dr. Ryan Averett DC, MS
Dr. Ryan Averett DC, MS has a diverse background through academics and his professional career. Shortly after enlisting in the Utah Army National Guard, he went onto also earn a certification in Surgical Technology, in 2008 from Ameritech College, where he served as part of the operating room staff. From this experience, he found his true passion for helping people and decided that sports medical science is where he could best serve his community. In 2010, he took the first steps into sports medicine by attending Utah Valley University for a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, and was selected for admission to the doctoral program at the University of Western States in Portland, OR in 2014. At the University of Western States, he met David Marcarian and served as the student representative for MyoVision. He served in that role, to help create brand awareness and train the clinical staff and students on the technology and how it relates to clinical cues used to diagnose biomechanical deficits in the musculoskeletal system.

Bill Gallagher, DC, CMVI
Bill Gallagher has practiced chiropractic in Arizona and California for the past 30 years. As someone who has survived several motor vehicle collisions this is an area of particular concern to him. In order to learn and teach about motor vehicle injuries he created the American Academy of Motor Vehicle Injuries. The academy’s 150 hour certificate program teaches doctors how to diagnose, document, and manage a personal injury case. Half of the core curriculum is on exam and diagnosis and all of that is based on understanding first, the mechanism of injury.
